A chapter where you feel the way you WANT to feel because your losses don’t limit you.
A chapter where what’s possible for you has nothing to do with what’s happened to you.
A chapter so good that you are the example of what’s possible for widowed moms everywhere!
Can you feel the possibility?
Designed exclusively for widowed moms, Coaching on the Couch is a special event created to help you solve the one problem that will change everything for you (even if you’re not yet sure what that is).
There’s a reason you haven’t yet made all the progress you want. Something is holding you back and you haven’t felt the shift you’re looking for. Perhaps you know what it is, perhaps you don’t.
Regardless, one thing is for sure… we’re going to solve it with Coaching on the Couch.
Together we’ll tackle your “one thing.” The thing that keeps you living Ground Hog’s Day, the thing that holds you back from the next chapter you really want, the thing that’s blocking you from possibility.
This is the magic waiting for you at Coaching on the Couch.
Since my husband, Hugo, was killed by a drunk driver when I was 40, I’ve had thousands of experiences with coaching, both as the client and the coach.
What I’ve seen time and time again, is that when you have the right environment, the right energy and the right coach, magic can happen in minutes.
Old patterns can dissolve before your eyes, shifts can be made that leave you changed forever. The entire trajectory of your life can change in an instant.
That’s the experience we’re going to create when we coach on my couch!
My partner just died…
If you’re already in Mom Goes On, then you’re perfect for this event. When your partner died is not relevant. What matters is that you aren’t willing to settle for less than what you want.
My partner has been gone for years…
Again, if you’re already in Mom Goes On, or have graduated, this event is for you. The amount of time that has passed since your person died has nothing to do with your ability to get what you need during this powerful day of coaching.
I have young children…
Managing your grief while solo parenting and helping your children manage their grief is daunting at best. And while it’s easy to put your own needs aside and focus on your children, it’s a terrible long term strategy. Grief is a marathon, not a sprint and as cliché as it sounds, you must put the oxygen mask on yourself first. We highly recommend you consider how valuable it is for both you and your children to invest this time in yourself. One weekend with a trusted care-taker will likely be good for all of you.
My children are grown…
Once a mom, always a mom. And while the challenges of solo parenting adult children are different from parenting young children, they aren’t necessarily any easier. Widowed moms of all ages are welcome at this event. It will be life-changing no matter how old your children are!
Travel is up to you to coordinate but we will reimburse you up to $1,000USD for your flights, hotel, and Uber or other transportation.
That’s a beautiful question that only you can answer. What we can tell you is that the experience will be powerful and one-of-a-kind. If you are honest and show up ready to coach, you will be amazed at how one day can literally change the entire trajectory of your life! You aren’t paying for time, you’re paying for the outcome of seeing yourself differently. You’re giving yourself the gift of the quality of life that you want.
If for some reason you enroll and cannot attend, we will make every effort to fill your spot. However, we cannot promise that we’ll be able to fill the spot. For this reason, assume all purchases are final and that no refunds will be given. Further, any travel costs incurred will not be refunded for those who enroll but do not attend.
Yes, it really is. And she’s excited to welcome you!
The airport code is KICT – Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport in Wichita, KS. We suggest you fly in on Friday and return home on Sunday.
We suggest you use Uber. You are also welcome to rent a car if you prefer.
Yes, it is expensive. And that’s on purpose. It takes commitment to invest this kind of money in your own transformation. Commitment is a requirement for transformation. When you have women who aren’t messing around plus a coach who isn’t messing around, powerful shifts happen. This level of commitment should feel a little scary.
Yes! We just ask that the full amount be paid prior to the event. (Payment plan = $1k deposit + 2 payments of 2k each = 5k total)
This event is first come, first served. When the spots are gone, they’re gone, so we suggest deciding as soon as you can.
Once you are registered, we’ll send a list of suggested hotels near Krista’s house.
Yes! A couple of weeks before the event, we’ll create a special Slack channel where you’ll find a little pre-work for you to complete before the event. This will help you get the most from our time together. We’ll also give you some opportunities in that channel to get to know the other women who are coming so you will feel like friends even before you arrive!
At our last in person event, nearly everyone went to dinner Friday night. While this is optional we highly recommend it! We will create a slack channel for participants to coordinate these types of gatherings.
This event is open to all who identify as widows and moms. Your current relationship status is not relevant.
You aren’t alone! Since our primitive brain believes that rejection from others is a risk to our survival, we often feel quite apprehensive about being vulnerable in front of others. This is normal. It’s good to remind ourselves that emotional safety comes from within and that the benefits of being truly honest far outweigh the discomfort required to do so. This is the perfect example of discomfort being the currency to your dreams. If you’re willing to be uncomfortable, you can have anything you want.
